Scale is committed use at list plus a $12,000-a-year platform fee that covers SSO, the SLA, the DPA, and named support, and design partners get 33% off year one. Plan credit is a monthly usage allowance included with your subscription, not a stored balance: it resets each billing period with no rollover, and on cancellation, unused credit lasts to the end of the paid month. A meter stays eligible only while its discounted price still clears WAVE's price floor; an ineligible meter bills at list.
How does the trial work?
A $5 startup trial credit, granted once, that spends at list like any other credit. It is a preview term: ruled Sep 24 and not yet live in billing.
Where do my account and balance live?
At WAVE. One WAVE account, balance at WAVE, credits 1:1 at list. Your identity travels across WAVE and the shelf brands; permissions do not.
Do I need a subscription to use the API?
No. Every product bills per use over x402 USDC on Base, fractions of a cent per operation, with no plan at all. Plans buy usage credit at list and production controls like routing priority and per-agent metering.
What rail settles sub-cent amounts?
x402 over HTTP on Base mainnet. The payment header carries a USDC micro-settlement that the facilitator validates, fractions of a cent per operation, no card network needed.
When does the card rail kick in?
At $0.50 and above, the card rail; below that, x402 on Base is the native rail.
What does preview mean on this page?

Do individual products have their own pages?
Yes. Every WAVE spoke serves its own /pricing page, and each section here links to its spoke where one exists. SUBTTL, BITDEPTH, TXRX, PLYR, KEYLITE and SLCT price their own lines on their own pages; this page links out to them and quotes none of their prices.
How does the meter work across products?
Every surface writes the same gateway meter; the ledger and rollup read it back. One meter, one settlement rail, per-product prices.
What are the rules for usage credit?
Credit is a prepaid right to use WAVE, not money. It applies 1:1 at list price to eligible usage of WAVE services billed to your WAVE account; some plans also reduce WAVE's rate on eligible usage, shown on this page. Plan credit is a monthly usage allowance included with your subscription, not a stored balance: it resets each billing period, lasts for its plan period, does not roll over, and (if you cancel) unused plan credit stays usable through the end of that paid period; credit you buy expires 365 days after purchase, and trial or promotional credit follows the terms of its offer. Credit is non-refundable except where law requires, cannot be transferred or pooled across accounts, and cannot be redeemed for cash. Full terms: wave.online/legal/terms, Section 5A.
